December 20, 2021 鈥 The 藏精阁 Dean of the College of Health and Human Services (CHHS), Dr. Dale Stephenson, has approved a college donation to the Western Kentucky University College of Health and Human Services to help WKU students affected by the tornado outbreak in early December. Dean Stephenson and the WKU CHHS Dean are colleagues and he reached out to her after the tornados asking how 藏精阁 could help.
鈥淚 called Dean Basta to check in and send our thoughts to those impacted by the tornado outbreak in southwest Kentucky,鈥 Dean Stephenson said. 鈥淚t is our hope this donation to the College of Health and Human Services at Western Kentucky University is used to bring some normalcy and cheer to affected WKU faculty, staff and students as we approach this holiday season.鈥
The $5,000 donation will help with the immediate financial needs of WKU College of Health and Human Services students. The Colleges of Health and Human Services at 藏精阁 and WKU are nearly identical in size and scope.
鈥淭here is great need among our WKU students following the recent tornados and we are humbled by the outpouring of support,鈥 Dean Tania Basta of WKU鈥檚 College of Health and Human Services said. 鈥淲e are truly grateful for the generosity from 藏精阁鈥檚 College of Health and Human Services for quickly offering financial assistance for our students.鈥
