Program Type: Undergraduate

Degree Awarded: Students typically obtain a B.S. in Biological Sciences (cellular/molecular/genetics track) or Biochemistry because these degrees include all the requirements needed for entry into dental school, but any track will work as long as entry requirements are met.

Our low student-to-faculty ratios will have you learning from and working directly with our highly-rated faculty to gain valuable hands-on experience in your chosen major. You’ll receive personalized guidance from advisors who know the field and can help you fulfill all the requirements for admission to dental school. Your education at ²Ø¾«¸ó will help you gain the experience you need to succeed in the dentistry field.

“As a student at ²Ø¾«¸ó I had so many opportunities, I was the chair of the Health Professions Club, a STEM Peer mentor, Supplemental Instructor and president of the Pre-Dental Committee. I also did Eastern bluebird research with Dr. Walters and loved seeing the nestlings hatch and the mother birds take care of their young.â€

  • Co-curricular Opportunities: Engage with faculty and fellow students through opportunities like the Health Professions Club (HPC) where you learn about the different health professions and meet representatives from health professional schools and physicians.
  • Interdisciplinary Laboratory Equipment: Our facilities house numerous laboratory spaces with shared scientific equipment that students use during independent research with faculty and during experiments conducted within laboratory courses.
  • Numerous Financial Aid Opportunities: ²Ø¾«¸ó students are eligible for numerous merit- and needs-based scholarships. Scholarships are also available for students pursuing STEM majors, like the Greaves Scholarship, which covers full in-state tuition and books.
