Association for Supply Chain Management ؾ Student Forum

Faculty Advisor: Bulent Erenay

We have an Association of Supply Chain Management Chapter here at ؾ. ASCM is one of the most important and largest organizations in supply chain management, and there are more than 200 ASCM-affiliated student chapters across North America. This chapter will allow you to access many resources, such as educational videos, plant tours, webinars, articles, and speaker series. Most importantly, it provides networking opportunities. ASCM also offers the chance to compete in case competitions in SCM.

Beta Gamma Sigma is the international business honor society for AACSB-accredited schools, which are the top 5% of business school programs around the world. Inducted as students, BGS members go on to serve in critical leadership roles in corporate, entrepreneurial, government, non-profit, and academic sectors.

Norse Students of Rivalry

Faculty Advisor: Joe Cobbs

Norse Students of Rivalry (NSR) is a student organization at Northern Kentucky University for those interested in competitive sports as an area of study and social connection for personal and/or professional development. Students from all disciplines (i.e., any major) are welcome in the inclusive group! Our objectives are to visit local sports and events together, meet alumni, build our work portfolios by collaborating in the Know Rivalry Project, showcase our professional skills with local/regional employers in sports and events, and social connect with other NORSE!

Faculty Advisor: David Raksa

We are the only not-for-profit marketing strategy firm fully integrated into college classrooms–into two marketing courses (MKT 392 and MKT 480) and volunteer program (Shadow Program). We are caring, passionate, and curious game-changers with a resilient growth mindset who has spent the last 10 years partnering with big companies like Procter & Gamble, Chipotle Mexican Grill, GE Credit Union, or Frontier Airlines and “once upon a time start-ups” like Kona Ice, Rhinegeist Brewery, Hoist, MyWallSt, Renewal Workshop, or prAna and applying fresh and creative thinking to overcome challenges associated with marketing to Generation Z and Millennials.

ؾ SHRM provides opportunities for interaction between Greater Cincinnati/Northern KY HR professionals and HRM majors and pre-majors that reinforce and add to HR knowledge the students acquire in  classroom settings.
